Speaker Update: Clinton Reuter - Breakout Session 4

We have a speaker update for the 4th breakout session (3:30–4:30 PM) in Marriott Room C at the upcoming ASSP Bakersfield Professional Development Symposium.

Due to a scheduling conflict, our previously scheduled presenter for this session is no longer able to attend. We’re grateful to Clint Reuter, CSP, CHST, REHS (ret.) for stepping in to lead this breakout session.

Clint serves as Senior Auditor of Operational Safety at Southern California Edison and brings more than 20 years of experience advancing Serious Incident and Fatality (SIF) prevention across utilities, construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, and nuclear generation.

His session, “Not Another AI Talk: Lessons We Still Haven’t Learned from 9/11,” will challenge the safety profession to move beyond lessons learned and toward lessons applied—with practical ideas for turning insights into action through drills, clear ownership, and verification routines that build practiced readiness.

We’re excited to have Clint join the program and look forward to the perspective he will bring to this session.
